Ada Web Server GPL 2015 versus Apache 2 simple benchmark

Apache 2 is about 6 times faster than the Ada Web Server application in this simple benchmark context, that consists of retrieving a 100 bytes static file in a configuration that is more suitable to the Ada Web Server application. While Apache 2 is still 2.4 times faster than AdaLabs enhanced version of Ada Web Server using this benchmark, there is still a lot of enhancements to be achieved in Ada Web Server

Tuesday 1 September 2015 Logo Design contest launched

Dear graphic designers, 'a revolutionary citizen-oriented open-governance platform' is an Open Source initiative that will be launched soon. As an Open Source, Non-Profit project, we are looking support concerning the following:
A. Project Logo Design
B. Main website page design 'HTML5, CSS3, javascript'
C. Platform Front-End Design 'HTML5, CSS3, javascript' (reference front-end implementation available)
D. Two 30 seconds animated  video to explain the project, 'à la moovly [2]'

We launched a Logo Design contest on designcrowd [1], and we wish to invite anyone interested to participate through this platform. We are now aware that this platform is may be not the preferred one of all designers, apologize as we were not aware of any potential concerns, and already activated the guaranteed payment for this job.

About David SAUVAGE

David Sauvage graduated from ESME Sudria (French engineering school) in 2004. He started as a Software Engineer at Thales, where he discovered the Ada Programming Language.

Working on tactical data link product lines, he then became an Agile Software Architect. In 2010, he founded AdaLabs Ltd (, a company specialized in Ada based technologies and services, located in Mauritius, also empowering Open Source and Sustainable Development.

David's vision is to bring AdaLabs as a Technology Creator & Innovation Leader, by mentoring Mauritian talents.

David built his expertise on embedded systems by working on the improvement of military level embedded systems, and then leading best Software Engineering practises on embedded product lines for civil security products.

As a Libre Software advocate, David has been given talks in International Software Engineering events :

We have lost the way - AdaLabs digital art work

Participating to this artistic event was a great experience for us, and it is definitively the first of a long artistic series.

The art work uses a GTK/Ada double buffer for graphic rendering, and more than 1_000 autonomous entities evolving concurrently with some specific rules (one Ada task per entity).

Using Interfaces.Fortran.BLAS with GNAT GPL 2011 (x86_64) on Debian 6.0.4 Squeeze x86_64

On x86 platform, GNAT GPL is shipped with libgnalasup.a that contains the necessary stuff to be used by Interfaces.Fortran.BLAS (see the pragma Linker_Options in i-forbla.adb).

On x86_64 platform, this is not the case, and the user needs to setup this by himself. There is 2 ways of doing this:
